“Come, yet again …”

“Come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times

Come, yet again, come, come”

Rumi

To me, this line in Rumi’s poem has meant that no matter how I think I’ve failed or fallen short in something, to again come and try whatever it was I wanted to do.

Today I’m coming back here to my long-abandoned blog to try again. This time around it will be more of a studio diary — shorter posts, not always a lot of text — a snapshot of whatever is going on in my studio at the time. I’m a self-taught emerging artist, so my stories will include those of figuring things out and pushing outside my comfort zone.

Welcome along. I encourage comments, conversation and community.
